Service Terms & Conditions
Nature of Service
The Alteration Specialist by Zeluchi Charles (TAS by ZC) provides precision garment services, including:
- Alterations and adjustments (fit, structure, length, reshaping)
- Custom modifications and refinements
- Restoration and repair (including delicate and aged garments)
- Hand-finishing and detailing
- Restoration and repair of Leather goods
All services are executed with a focus on preserving garment essence, elevating fit, and honouring craftsmanship.
Intake, Assessment & Approval
- All garments are assessed upon intake to determine feasibility, scope, and risk.
- Pricing and timelines are confirmed before commencement.
- Client approval is required before any work begins.
- In a situation where a requested outcome may compromise garment integrity, TAS by ZC will advise accordingly and may decline the service.
Alterations for Off-the-Rack Items
Off-the-rack purchases may be eligible for alteration services under TAS by ZC, subject to:
- Garment condition and brand discretion/internal policy
- Feasibility of requested adjustments: Requests for alteration must be made within 25 days of purchase received after delivery.
Alterations requested beyond this period will be treated as independent TAS by ZC services and subject to standard terms and pricing.
Pricing & Payment Structure
Pricing is determined by:
- Fabric/material type and sensitivity (e.g., texture, structure, composition)
- Garment construction and layering
- Complexity of alteration or restoration
- Level of finishing required
All pricing reflects precision work, technical expertise, and finishing quality.
Payment is determined by:
- Intake, assessment and approval
- No pricing change after approval and commencement
- All payment and deposits should be made in full or in part of 70% total cost before commencement.
Discounts & Offers
- First-time clients may receive a 10% discount on services above $50 (excluding ongoing promotions).
- Children's wear services receive a 10% discount.
- Verified referrals may receive up to a 15% discount.
- Items purchased from Zeluchi Charles are eligible to receive 30-60% discount, in accordance with brands internal policy. See section (Alterations for Off-the-Rack Items)
Discounts are non-combinable unless explicitly stated and may be adjusted or withdrawn at the brand's discretion.
Add-ons & Additional Costs
Additional charges may apply for materials and enhancements, including but not limited to:
- Zippers, fasteners, closures
- Beading, embellishments, and specialty trims
- Linings, interfacing, and reinforcement materials
- Others not mentioned, however usually categorized
All additional costs are communicated and approved before execution.
Turnaround Time
- Standard timelines are communicated at drop-off based on workload and complexity.
- Timelines may vary depending on garment condition and technical requirements.
- Clients will be informed of any changes where applicable.
Rush Services
- Rush services (24–48 hours or less) may incur a 15%–30% surcharge.
- Acceptance of rush orders is subject to capacity and technical feasibility.
Client-Provided Goods & Risk
TAS by ZC handles all goods with care; however, results may vary depending on fabric condition, prior alterations, and material limitations.
By submitting a garment or other goods, the client acknowledges inherent risks associated with alterations, especially on delicate, vintage, or previously altered items.
TAS by ZC is not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage or weaknesses
- Fabric/Material reactions to alteration or restoration processes
- Limitations that prevent exact replication of requested outcomes
Quality Assurance & Claims
- Clients are expected to inspect garments upon collection.
- Any concerns must be reported within 48 hours of collection.
- Where necessary, reasonable adjustments will be made to align with the agreed scope of work.
Collection & Unclaimed Items
- Clients are responsible for the timely pickup of completed garments.
- Items not collected within a reasonable timeframe may be subject to storage limitations or handling policies.
Care & Maintenance
- Clients are advised to follow appropriate garment care instructions post-service.
- TAS by ZC is not responsible for damage resulting from improper care after collection.
Storage & Handling Policy
TAS by ZC maintains a structured system for handling, storage, and care of all client goods during and after service.
Handling During Service
All garments are handled with professional care and technical precision. Storage during service is organized to maintain:
- Garment condition
- Structural integrity
- Cleanliness and order
Post-Completion Storage
Upon completion, clients will be notified for collection. Completed items will be held for a limited period, after which the brand may no longer guarantee optimal storage conditions.
Uncollected Items
Items not collected within a reasonable timeframe, usually 8-10 days may be subject to:
- Storage constraints
- Reorganization or relocation within storage systems
TAS by ZC is not responsible for:
- Changes in garment condition due to prolonged storage
- Environmental factors beyond standard storage conditions
Extended Non-Collection
Where items remain uncollected for an extended period with or without communication from the client, the brand reserves the right to:
- Limit further responsibility
- Apply additional handling or storage measures
- Take appropriate action in line with operational policies
Delivery & Collection Policy
Zeluchi Charles ensures that all garments are delivered or made available for collection in alignment with agreed timelines and quality standards.
Delivery Methods
Delivery or collection methods (pickup, courier, or third-party logistics) are agreed upon or chosen by the client in advance. Where delivery is arranged:
- Clients are responsible for providing accurate delivery details
- Risk may transfer upon handover to the delivery provider (where applicable)
Collection Responsibility
Clients are expected to collect completed items within a reasonable timeframe after notification. Failure to collect items may result in:
- Storage limitations (see applicable section)
- Restricted liability for the condition of uncollected items over extended periods
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY (ALL DIVISIONS)
Policy Overview
Zeluchi Charles operates across multiple service-based and product-based divisions, each delivered with a commitment to excellence, intentionality, and transformation.
Due to the customized, creative, and service-oriented nature of our offerings: All payments made to Zeluchi Charles are considered final and non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
This policy ensures the protection of time, resources, craftsmanship, and planning invested into each client engagement.
Deposits & Booking Commitments
All deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are required to secure:
- Production timelines
- Consultation or Academy slots
- Creative planning and resource allocation
Deposits or bookings signifies commitment from both the client and the brand. Failure to proceed after confirmation does not constitute grounds for refund, however concession could be made by the brand in accordance to internal policies, based on verifiable reasons presented by the client.
Service-Based Work
- Once a service has commenced, it is non-refundable.
- Completed services are not eligible for refund under any circumstances.
Where necessary, the brand may offer:
- Reasonable adjustments
- Refinements within the agreed scope
These do not constitute a re-performance of the service.
Exceptional Circumstances
Requests for exceptions (if any) are:
- Reviewed on a case-by-case basis
- Not guaranteed
- Subject to brand discretion
Approval of any exception does not establish precedent for future cases.
Brand Authority
Zeluchi Charles reserves the right to:
- Interpret and apply this policy
- Make final decisions on all refund, cancellation, and all aspects of internal policy
All decisions are made in alignment with:
- Brand standards
- Service integrity
- Commitment to excellence

All services across Zeluchi Charles are governed by the following principles:
- Excellence in execution
