Watercolour and Embroidery Labs

Watercolour and Embroidery Labs

Explore mixed-media art through watercolour, thread, texture, rhythm, patience, and refined visual storytelling.

Program Overview

The Watercolour and Embroidery Labs introduce learners to mixed-media art through the delicate relationship between paint, line, texture, thread, rhythm, and surface. Learners will explore watercolour washes, transparency, layering, pattern, and embroidery as a drawn line on paper or fabric. This workshop helps learners understand that Fine Art can move beyond one medium and that different materials can work together to create meaning. Watercolour brings softness, atmosphere, flow, transparency, and colour movement. Embroidery introduces line, texture, rhythm, touch, patience, structure, and detail. Together, they teach learners how to balance spontaneity and control.
