Program Overview
The Papier-Mâché and Painting Workshop introduces learners to three-dimensional making through structure, form, layering, texture, surface design, and painted finishing. Learners will create a simple sculptural or relief-based piece using papier-mâché techniques and complete it with painted details. This workshop helps learners understand that Fine Art is not limited to flat surfaces. It introduces sculpture-like thinking through volume, form, support, surface, transformation, and process. This workshop is especially valuable because it teaches patience, sequencing, material transformation, creative problem-solving, and respect for process time.
